What is the current wage gap between men and women in Portugal?
The wage inequality between men and women continues to be one of the main challenges in the Portuguese labor market. Despite advances in legislation, the most recent data shows that women earn, on average, 12.7% less per hour than men, about a month and a half of income per year.
